Bald Eagle 9-27 thru 9-30-2020

This is how the three day trip started. I had no idea what was in store.
One of my favorite stretches of the Bald Eagle Creek and it was here I would spend a good bit of time.
What I found were Rainbow trout...not just one or two but "tons" and if you knew what to fish, they could be caught with amazing regularity.
Most were small, say around 7 to 10 inches.
But there were a couple of larger ones tossed in.
Excuse my finger but right below the tip of the finger is my preferred location to fish.
This side of the stream is wadable. The other side is not.
Fortunately I was fishing with a friend who fishes this stream damn near every day and he figured out how to catch these fish.
And, as you can see, he was kind enough to share little tid bits of knowledge...for which I am eternally grateful.
Because of that I caught fish. Possibly more trout in three days than I have ever caught.
